I am so excited for this next season. We have so much going on! Lots of new additions to the farm— we plan on having a couple of events this year, music in the lavender, a butterfly festival and more. We are in the planning stages of those, stay tuned for dates and times. We are also applying to be a certified Monarch sanctuary— quite a process but hopefully we can get that accomplished. Our butterfly green house will go up this year where we can safely raise these beautiful butterflies. Did you know that Monarchs will probably be listed as endangered this year?
As our cherry trees mature and produce more, we are excited to offer those for sale at the farm this year and also at the Green Bay Farmers market as we did last year. They were a hit!
In December of this year Craig and I attended the Fruit/Vegetable and Growers Expo in Grand Rapids Michigan. We had one full day of lavender classes and one day of Cherry growing classes. It was a fun trip but most importantly we learned a whole lot more about what we do.
Our website will probably look a bit different as we move through the season- more information about what a tourist might do on our farm.
