Happy Spring Everyone! We know its spring by the date on the calendar and the fat robins bobbing in the yard, but with a good bit of snow on the ground yet (from the blizzard) and the temperatures it seems that its a tad bit slow this year. But of course when March turns to April its normally the hurry up and wait time… its thunder storming out there today…
We are so excited about the 2026 season with so much planned. Our new greenhouse will begin construction as soon as its feasible to start digging. We are itching to get it started so we can fill it with butterflies to enjoy this year! It will be a learning experience for us and I know we we learn a lot and get better…
Two new butterfly gardens are going in this year, one will be close to the greenhouse, the other will be out among the lavender with a nice sitting area. The planning for the plants has begun in earnest.. trying to figure out a good way to keep those pesky deer away.. we may have to end up fencing in the whole property. They acquired a taste for lavender over the winter (oh no!)
Our major event this year will be a Luau on the first of August. Featuring a luau pig roast with all the trimmings, an authentic dance show featuring a fire dancer present by Na Hale dance studio and Mai Tai’s and other assorted umbrella drinks. Aloha wear is mandatory! We are so excited to present this great event in the Peshtigo area and look forward to a beautiful evening.
A bigger variety of items for sale at the shop is being planned this year, as well as an expansion of our lawn decoration section. New items include: Lavender pancake mix, Lavender roasted Pecans, Lavender coffee and various bath soaks and spa items. Our shop continues to offer lavender baking mixes, beautiful pottery and gift baskets.
We so hope you can join us this year on the farm. We open Memorial Day weekend with fresh plants for sale and the seasonal opening of the store. We have so much fun planned this year, get in touch if you have questions or would like to plan a special outing or event.
